Silk Sonic Win Best R&B Song for “Leave the Door Open” at 2022 Grammys

Silk Sonic took home the trophy for Best R&B Song at the 2022 Grammy Awards tonight. “Leave the Door Open,” by the duo comprising Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, beat out singles by H.E.R. (“Damage”), SZA (“Good Days”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Pick Up Your Feelings”), and Giveon (“Heartbreak Anniversary”).

After making their live debut at the 2021 Grammys, Silk Sonic released their debut album An Evening with Silk Sonic in November. “Leave the Door Open” is also up for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, after winning Best R&B Performance. The band is among the 2022 Grammy performers.
