The idea behind using placeholder content is simple: dropping real tracks too early in the production process can disrupt the rhythm before the final mix hits the right note.

Once again, our local casino offered a great show but this time on their out-door stage which was outstanding for a small midwestern town. The weather was near perfect, just a little warm with no breeze, but that didn’t stop us from throwing on our best duds and sweating with a couple of thousand fans to capture some amazing live shots and enjoy seeing some fellow rockers out for a good time. Kansas Crossing Casino is, for those who have never been, a big entertainment packed into a little casino and hotel with plenty of gaming, a mining themed restaurant, luxury rooms, and two medium-sized stages for both big and small acts to bring in the tourists and locals alike.

What started as a full house awaiting a good time, Eva Under Fire took the stage to amp up the fans and make some new ones including myself. Eva Under Fire is an American rock band from Detroit, Michigan. The band consists of lead vocalist Eva Marie (outstanding vocals by the way), guitarists Rob Lyberg and Chris Slapnik, bassist Ed Gawlik, and drummer Dave Miller. With songs like “BLOW” and “Unstoppable” they also performed some new material soon to be released through your favorite outlets and look forward to this group going places and possibly headlining their own tours someday soon.

After a quick stage change that took just minutes, the music kicked off, and Tyler Connolly‘s vocals electrified the crowd as he performed alongside Theory of a Deadman‘s current members Dave Brenner, Dean Back, and Joey Dandeneau. They delivered an incredible light show that perfectly complemented the music vibes, keeping everyone in the audience fully immersed and jamming along. While not the first time covering this band, Albee it with a lineup changes or two since then. This Canadian rock band from British Columbia has been around for over two decades performing hits like Bad girlfriend, lowlife, and the bitch came back which most of us can relate to making them fan favorites. Tyler, in between songs, let out that they are indeed working on a new material with upcoming release date to be announced.

Once again, I’d like to thank Kansas Crossing Casino for bringing a spectacular concert to our neck of the woods and having it staffed so well and very helpful and accommodating to everyone in attendance, and look forward to catching many more shows at this venue!
