On Monday, January 20th, 2026, the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho was packed with energy and sweat as The Offspring and Bad Religion brought the 90s roaring back to life. The crowd was a mix of young fans and middle aged ones like me, shoulder to shoulder.
Bad Religion kicked off the night with bass so loud you could feel it in your chest. Hears skipped beats. The mosh pit followed fast, pulling in both the young and the not-so-young without hesitation. With songs like “American Jesus” and “21st Century (Digital Boy),” they had the crowd singing at the top of their lungs, cheering along to every word. There was no better band to prepare all of us for what came next: The Offspring.
With barely an empty seat in the building, The Offspring took to the stage and nostalgia hit me hard. The only thing missing were Dexter Holland’s long braids, a reminder of just how far back this music goes. They formed back in 1984 in Garden Grove, California, and on their Facebook page they proudly call themselves iconic punk innovators of the Southern California punk rock sound. As the show went on, the mosh pit doubled in size, spilling farther into the crowd. The Offspring’s world tour is well deserved, and I highly recommend grabbing one of their really cool shirts as a souvenir. Their new album, Supercharged, is out now and is amazing! Some of it is pop punk and some is old school. Be sure to check out their tour this year!
