How Brandi Glanville and RIP Youth Turned Mutual Trust into a Dancefloor Hit

In the age of social-media stunts and reality-fueled viral moments, it’s rare to see a collaboration that actually works. But in ‘Remedy’, what started as a curious crossover between a seasoned Aussie producer, a rising pop powerhouse, and a reality TV icon turned into a surprisingly organic, emotionally honest pop release.

“Brandi is a great writer so she didn’t need much help in that department,” says RIP Youth (James Maas), the producer behind the track. “There’s also a trust factor, she knows I’ve been making music for a long time so i would tell her when something was off and she would trust my opinion.”

For Brandi Glanville, ‘Remedy’ was a reclamation of confidence, years in the making. Known globally for her unfiltered role on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she’s long been painted as polarizing. But in the studio, a different Brandi emerged — meticulous, self-critical, yet determined.

“Brandi showed up a little nervous,” RIP recalls. “She’s a perfectionist and everything she does she wants to be the best! But then she trusted me and after we spent some time writing and settling into a safe space she felt at ease and our vocal producer Matt held her hand and quickly she became surprised at how good she sounded we had to have her spread some love over the chorus as well.”

The irony? While Brandi was finding her footing behind the mic, she’d already mentored RIP Youth in an entirely different world: the one in front of the camera.

“She really lead me into the podcasting space by inviting me on as a co-host” he says. “At first it was kind of jarring seeing a lot of negative feedback, so that helped me develop a thick skin.”

So when it came time to do live TV together in front of four million viewers, the roles flipped.

“I was so nervous all day I could have vomit,” he laughs. “But then the moment I saw Brandi it all dropped away and I just trusted her in her element and ended up having a great time. She told me I would and I trusted her.”

That support system echoes through ‘Remedy’, a song about the person who makes chaos disappear. The track may be upbeat and club-ready, but the story underneath is layered with friendship, redemption, and mutual growth.
