Following on from our review of their collaboration, ‘Bringin’ It Home‘, we speak with Robbie Rosen and Coffeeshop.

This team has been described as a “dream team.” How do each of your individual strengths complement one another? 

Robbie: I think we all put our strengths forward into one outstanding final product – Beth’s incredible songwriting, Jack’s inspiring production, and my voice & writing!

Marie: It is a dream to be able to work with Robbie, Coffeeshop and Rob Aster. Co-writing with Robbie is such a great experience. I am in awe of his talent and ability to make magic out of my simple melody and lyrics and he expresses them so beautifully with his amazing voice. Coffeeshop ties it all together with his genius production. He adds character and he finds just the right vibe for our songs. He innately knows what it takes to elevate it up a notch, and finally, Rob Aster is the glue that binds and fuels this dynamic together. He has great vision on where he wants to take the song and his dedication and commitment to it is so humbling. I truly appreciate each one of them and consider myself so lucky and blessed to know them. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done together.

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): “Dream team” really is the perfect way to describe us. Each of us brought something truly unique to the table. Robbie has this rare ability to deliver both power and vulnerability in his voice—it hits you right in the heart. Beth brought a poetic sensitivity to the lyrics that made the message feel deeply personal yet universally relatable. And Rob, our publisher, is a true industry veteran. His experience and guidance helped shape the project with a clear sense of purpose and direction. As for me, I focused on channeling all that creative energy into a production that could elevate the emotion and turn it into a sonic experience.

Was there a particular moment that inspired the message behind “Bringin’ It Home?” 

Robbie: I really got inspired by Beth’s initial idea for the song that she brought to me!

Marie: Robbie and I wanted to impart an empowering message of positivity and belief in oneself. Once we set this goal, the lyrics started to flow about destiny and knowing that our paths no matter how difficult, would eventually lead us to where we are meant to be and wherever we may be, we will eventually “bring it home”

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): Yes, definitely. The first time I heard the early demo—when it was still more of a ballad—it hit me like a wave. There was something about it that spoke to this inner fire: the drive to come back home not empty-handed, but with everything you’ve learned, built, and overcome. That message resonated deeply with me. After over a decade in the music industry, through ups, downs, and constant reinvention, I’ve realized that “coming home” isn’t just a physical place—it’s a state of wholeness. That moment sparked the whole vision.

Robbie and Beth—in your songwriting process, how did you go about telling stories that are both personally meaningful and universally resonant? 

Robbie: I think it’s such a universal theme in and of itself, so the story pretty much told itself! We wanted to inspire people with this one!

Marie: I think that we all share collective experiences that everyone can relate to. “Bringing it home” reflects that. We all have our story “to be told” and roads we have to travel. Whatever one’s definition of their ultimate “home” is- we live our lives finding our way to that.

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): Robbie and Beth have this incredible gift for writing straight from the heart. Their process is rooted in honesty—they start from something deeply personal, but they’re able to translate that into language that speaks to everyone. There’s no filter, no façade—just pure, emotional truth. That’s what makes the song work.

Coffeeshop—how did you approach transforming “Bringin’ It Home” from a ballad into an anthem? 

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): It felt like taking an already burning flame and throwing fuel on it. The ballad version was emotional and powerful, but I felt it had the potential to become something bigger—something that could echo in stadiums, sports broadcasts, headphones during workouts. I kept the heart of the track intact but built around it with layered harmonies, energetic builds, and a drop designed to lift you up. My mission was simple: make the listener feel like they could run a marathon and win it.

“Bringin’ It Home” is not just about success. Why was it important for you to emphasize the cyclical nature of life’s journeys on this track? 

Robbie: It’s so important because life isn’t just rainbows and butterflies. Sometimes you need to rise from the ashes before finding that success!

Marie: Because not everyone’s definition of success is the same. One’s pursuits vary from the next and every journey and destination has a different significance for everyone. We wanted the listener to relate to that emotion of fearing the unknown, but knowing you still have to take a step forward and to try. To not let fear or self-doubt get in the way of pursuing your success in whatever version of “home” that may be. 

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): Because real victory is never a straight line. I wanted “Bringin’ It Home” to speak not just to the finish line, but to the fall, the comeback, the entire cycle. Life moves in loops—we all rise, fall, restart. And we need to hear that that’s okay. That it’s part of the process. For me, this track is about embracing every phase of the journey, not just the moments of glory.

How did you decide which moments of motion to include in the lyric video? Why was it important for you to include moments of triumph and adventure? 

Robbie: The music video suited the lyrics perfectly. Each shot ultimately led up perfectly to the sentiment of “bringin’ it home” and finding your way!

Marie: We wanted the song to resonate with all those experiences. We rise, we fall and we fall again – but we get up and we take another step  … we have to.. and “bringing it home” is that story. The human spirit of resilience and faith. Always moving forward no matter how slow or how small, we take one step at a time.

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): We built the lyric video as a visual journey that mirrors the message of the song. Every moving scene—from sports clips to nature to everyday gestures—was chosen to reflect progress, momentum, and resilience. We wanted the viewer to feel like they were part of that motion, like they were running their own race. Those moments of triumph and adventure serve as reminders that we’re all the heroes of our own story—even when no one’s watching.

What words of encouragement do you hope to pass along to others with “Bringin’ It Home?” 

Robbie: I hope to inspire people to pursue whatever dreams they may have and refuse to stop until that dream is reached.

Marie: to never give up, to love oneself and to know that the journey “home” isn’t the same for everyone, but the story is the same for all. The story of life and its challenges and obstacles ahead, but we eventually follow our truths, and our paths will reveal themselves in time and lead us to our destiny.

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): The journey is always worth it. Even when you feel like you’re losing, or going backwards. Every step matters. “Bringin’ It Home” is an anthem for anyone who keeps showing up, who keeps trying. I want people to feel like this track can be the soundtrack to both their hardest days and their greatest wins. No matter where you are on your path, keep moving forward.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of creating and sharing “Bringin’ It Home” with your audience?

Robbie: It’s so rewarding to hear how our creations impact people. That’s one of the most important aspects of being an artist and writer – to make sure your work touches people and connects with them emotionally.

Marie: To know that it resonates with everyone else’s experience. That it can inspire and motivate others to continue their journey, and to never give up and to continue to believe in themselves and that we all are “Bringing it Home”.

Giacomo (Coffeeshop): Seeing people connect with the message. Getting messages from listeners who play it before a race, during a workout, or in a tough personal moment—that’s everything. It means the music is doing its job. For me, that’s the real success.
