Peter Silberman of The Antlers and Will Sheff of Okkervil River will hit the road together this May and June for a “solo-ish” tour. Silberman writes, “We’ll each be playing intimate solo-ish sets, joined by a couple musical friends as we traverse songs from across our sprawling catalogs and try out some new works-in-progress. We’ll each play a set of our own, followed by a combined / collaborative set to close out the evenings.” “Will’s music was formative for me throughout the making of my first few albums under The Antlers name, and the DNA of his songwriting is deeply baked into my own to this day,” he continues. “I’m so honored to get to do these shows together in the coming months, exploring our overlap and divergences, and ultimately creating something new in the process.” The shows begin in Somerville on May 29 and wrap up in Los Angeles on June 27, stopping in Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC, NYC, Seattle, San Francisco, and more.
