Ultimate K-pop Summer Song Match-Up: Girls’ Generation vs. Girl’s Day
Congratulations to f(x)’s Hot Summer! It was a tight match yesterday, but the girls edged it out with 52.8% of the vote. That’s three SM victories in a row! Will we have another after this round?
Today, it’s the battle of the girls. Literally. Will they have a day… or a whole generation?? It’s Girls’ Generation’s 2015 comeback single Party vs. Girl’s Day’s 2014 track Darling.
Both of these songs are supported by quintessential summer concepts, but they take their inspirations from different eras. Darling takes a more old-school approach, while Party embraces the breezy pop of the early 2010’s. But, only one track can move onto the next round. The choice is up to all of you. Feel free to advocate, cheerlead, cut deals, etc in the comments section!
The vote is open for twenty-four hours, and the winner will be celebrated in tomorrow’s bracket post.
Candidate One: Girls’ Generation – Party Candidate Two: Girl’s Day – Darling
